ABOUT US
HOW IT ALL BEGAN...
Mwani Store is a Portuguese brand created in 2018 by the artisan Andreia Fortuna and her partner Valdo Dias.
When they met, they brought with them the culture and knowledge that had been passed on by their families.
In 2018, Andreia, 24 years old from Portugal after completing her studies in the field of fashion, met the 25-year-old Valdo and also met the capulanas.
Valdo aroused a greater curiosity for his culture and quickly offered him capulanas in order to stimulate the love that was born and he managed to do so.
It all started with attempts, initially the production was more focused on home decor (pillows, placemats, etc.)
But because everything the two do is consistent and with love, it quickly turned into an inspiring piece of work.
Customers began to appreciate the work, stimulating and motivating its continuation and today the offer is increasingly diversified.
WHAT DOES MWANI MEANS?
